Big Old House.

As time goes by and my future rapidly approaches, I am faced with two options. Both being equally tempting. I can either make a sacrifice by joining the Navy for four years after they put me through college. The problem with this option is my fear of loosing sight of who I truly am. I really don't want to chance that. However, if I take this route then I will always be taken care of financially.

I was talking to my mom this morning while she was looking through my TOMSshoes catalog. She asked me, "This is what you really want to do, huh?" I can't deny it, my life would be meaningless to me if I didn't spend it helping people in need.

I said in response, "Yeah, that is what I want to do. Just help people. I don't care if I'm poor."

So, my two options. Take the offer from the NROTC and get everything paid for, serve for four years after college, and after that choose what I want to do with the rest of my life. Or, do what my heart desires, and ultimately live without financial security.

Things to ponder.
